More Burglaries To Unlocked Cars Reported In Warren
One car was stolen, two more were burglarized and another car was almost broken into. All of the vehicles were unlocked, police say.
WARREN, NJ — Car burglaries continue to plague the township as residents continue to leave vehicles unlocked.
On Tuesday, Nov. 9, a King George Road resident reported someone burglarized their unlocked vehicle and stole a purse with $40 inside. The purse was later found on the roadway. The burglary is believed to have occurred between Nov. 5 and Nov. 7, said Warren Police.
On Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 6:52 a.m., a Spencer Lane resident reported their unlocked vehicle was stolen. Inside the car were the keys and $2,000 worth of gift cards.

Later that morning, a Wilderness Trail resident reported someone tried to break-into their unlocked vehicle. Nothing was reportedly stolen.
Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and remove car keys and any valuables from inside.
