David Mealy, 58, of North Plainfield, was taken to Morristown Memorial Medical Center after the motorcycle he was driving on Stirling Road, near Dillon Court, hit a deer at 7:41 a.m. June 14. Police also responded to an accident at 6:42 a.m. on Liberty Corner Road, after a vehicle driven by Marcos Moran-Avila, 69, of Bridgewater, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Robert Dean, 52, of Warren. No injuries were reported, and Moran-Avila was charged with careless driving.
