Two people riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle were injured after hitting a deer while traveling on Valleyview Road, near Old Smalleytown Road, at 7:21 a.m.
Police said Terrence Marsman, 23, of New Providence, and Danielle Papianni, 19, of Warren, were taken to Morristown Medical Center by the Warren First Aid and Rescue Squad after they were thrown from the vehicle when it hit the deer.
Marsman remains in the hospital, in fair condition, while Papianni was treated and released.
