New Teacher Inductions Start for Warren Township Schools

Here's a sure sign that the first day of school is fast approaching: The teachers are coming! On Tuesday, Warren Township Schools welcome new teachers, who will inducted into the district. The official start date of the 2013-14 school year is Sept. 9.

The boys of autumn hit the gridiron Tuesday afternoon for the first of two scrimmage games to precede the regular season, which starts Sept. 12. Wish the team well as it takes on the Arthur L. Johnson High School Crusaders from Clark in Tuesday's practice matchup.

If your daughter is an experienced lacrosse player, this day is for her: DewLax Lacrosse Clinic  hosts a lax quick camp for area girls who want to play lacross this fall. The quick camp, which starts Tuesday evening and also runs Thursday evening, will prepare girls with simulated tryout preparation and individual feedback.
