Peer Leaders Visit Warren Senior Center

Peer leaders from Warren Middle School visited the Warren Senior Center on January 14, 2015.
Their intergenerational theme was “World Tales.” They hosted a series of interactive “world-ly” games and activities with the members of the senior center.

For example, students first displayed a banner they had created of the top 10 cities people visit most.
Then they surveyed the seniors and made comparisons to their own travels. Afterwards, the students moved on to a variety of games, all of which had been adapted to fit their world theme. The Peer Leaders Program, led by Susan Cooper and Lynn Degen, serves the community of Warren Township by running different activities, while at the same time strengthening students’ leadership skills.
