Pingry School Honors Warren Residents For Academic Excellence
The Cum Laude Society, founded in 1906, recognizes students who demonstrate scholarship, integrity, and a lifelong love of learning.
WARREN, NJ - Three Warren residents have been welcomed into The Cum Laude Society at The Pingry School as members of the Class of 2026: Hannah Diao, Kathryn Flanigan, and Durga Menon.
Established in 1906, The Cum Laude Society is the secondary school equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa and recognizes students for academic excellence and superior scholarship. To be considered, students must maintain at least an A average, achieve Honor Roll status throughout their Upper School years, remain in good academic standing, and carry a full college preparatory course load.
The society also emphasizes character, honoring students who demonstrate a love of learning, integrity, and a commitment to scholarship beyond grades. Its motto reflects three ideals: excellence, justice, and honor.
