Basking Ridge Man Facing DWI Charge

Warren Township police reports for the week of May 13.

May 17

Cyrus Eslami, 21, of Basking Ridge, was charged with DWI after police stopped the vehicle he driving on Liberty Corner Road at 1:32 a.m. In addition to the DWI charge, Eslami was charged with careless driving, reckless driving and failing to stay in lanes. He was released after the charges were filed, pending an appearance in municipal court.

May 16

Rocio Jacobs, 51, was charged with careless driving at about 8 a.m. after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving on Stirling Road, north of Mountain Avenue, and went off the roadway. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Police responded to an accident on Stirling Road, at Community Place, at 8:27 a.m., after a vehicle driven by Ayman Moursy, 39, of Warren, was hit by a vehicle driven by Lillian Giangreco, 56, of Basking Ridge, as Moursy was pulling into traffic on Stirling Road. No injuries were reported at the scene.  

May 14

Matthew Kasallis, 25, of Middlesex, was charged with failing to show a driver's license at 8:44 a.m., after the vehicle he was driving on Mt. Bethel Road, near Central School, was hit in the rear by a vehicle driven by Venkata Ikkurthy, 45, of Edison. No injuries were reported at the accident scene. 

May 13

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Rachel Gallic, 16, of Warren, and a vehicle driven by Badrinath Rao, 44, of Stirling, crashed on Hillcrest Road as Gallic was pulling out of a driveway at 12:33 p.m.

May12

Police responded to a report of a an accident on Red Hill Road, after a vehicle struck a tree and left the area at 4:46 a.m.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Elisa Kominsky, 43, of Warren, struck a vehicle driven by Fred Nielsen, 78, of Watchung, on Mt. Bethel Road at 10:16 a.m., when Kominsky failed to yield to oncoming traffic. No summonses have been issued.

Melissa Diamond, 19, of Warren, was charged with careless driving after the vehicle she was driving on Mountain Boulevard, by Primrose Way, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Richard Loreti, 43, of Watchung, at 10:51 a.m.

David Soled, 17, of Warren, refused medical attention after the vehicle he was driving on Flintlock Drive at 11:45 p.m. struck a utility pole after he fell asleep whiel driving. 

May 11

Melissa Lawrence, 37, of Morristown, was charged with careless driving at 8:43 a.m. after the vehicle she was driving struck a vehicle driven by Maxine Jordan, 26, of Ewing, while pulling out from the Delta gas servce station on Mt. Bethel Road. Both drivers refused medical attention at the scene of the accident.

Elias Moncayo, 82, was charged with failing to maintain his lane after the vehicle he was driving on Stirling Road hit a vehicle driven by Diane Musmano, 56, of Warren, at 10:28 a.m.
