Power Outages Continue in Warren

Warren residents are in the dark after a severe thunderstorm over night caused power outages across Somerset County

Warren, NJ -- Power outages are being reported Monday across Somerset County due to the severe thunderstorm last night and downed trees. 

The number of residents in Warren without power went from 113 down to 38 as of 10 p.m. Monday.

  • Bedminster Township - 5 out of 3,713 customers
  • Bernards Township - 50 out of 12,6431 customers
  • Bernardsville Borough - 33 out of 3,485
  • Branchburg Township - Less than 5 out of 6,282 customers
  • Bridgewater Township - Less than 5 out of 3,2351
  • Far Hills Borough - 17 out of 568 customers
  • Hillsborough Townshop - Less than 5 out of 1,052 customers
  • Peapack and Gladstone Borough - Less than 5 out of 1,150 customers
  • Warren Township - 38 out of 5,322 customers

Customers in both Green Brook and Watchung with PSE&G utility service are had their power restored.

"JCP&L continues working to restore the remaining 3,388 customers affected by the severe wind storms that hit the region late Saturday evening into Sunday. Restoration to the remaining customers is expected to be completed by midnight tonight," JCP&L posted on Facebook Monday.

While the restoration continues, water and ice are being distributed free of charge to customers who remain without service. Customers should present identification at the customer service desk at the following stores: http://spr.ly/6185Bim7H.
