Preschool, Kindergarten Registration For Warren Schools

WARREN, NJ — Don't forget to register your child or children for Warren Township School's 2017-2018 preschool and kindergarten programs.

Kindegarten:

In the next week or two, an e-blast notification will be sent out with instructions on how to complete the online registration process. Parents can also visit www.warrentboe.org and Facebook(Warren Township Board of Education) and Twitter (@warrenschoolsnj) pages for updates.

Parents can also sign up for school and district e-blasts on the website under the “Parents” section on the upper right side of the screen.

Preschool:

Warren Township School District is offering an integrated preschool program for Warren residents that will include a 3 year old and a 4 year old class.

Applications for September 2017 enrollment are available at the Board of Education Office, 213 Mt. Horeb Road. Completed applications must be returned to the BOE Office no later than Jan. 4, 2017. Students will be selected on a lottery basis.

The program follows the Creative Curriculum for Preschool which is aligned with the state curriculum standards in order to prepare students for kindergarten. The program serves children who are typically developing and those with special needs. The curriculum addresses skills and concepts in the following content areas: literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and technology.

The preschool follows the Warren Township School calendar with additional days off throughout the school year based on program needs and professional development.

• 3 year old class – 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday
• 4 year old class – 12:30 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

**Busing Available** **Anticipated Tuition is $375 per month**

To be eligible, the following criteria must be met:

• Proof of residency in Warren Township and child’s birth certificate
• Age 3 by October 1, 2017 for the three year old class
• Age 4 by October 1, 2017 for the pre-k class
• Students eligible for entrance into kindergarten in September 2017 will not be considered for enrollment in the preschool program.
