Rash Of Car Burglaries Reported In Warren

Warren reported a total of six burglaries to vehicles, most of which were unlocked, on Sunday and Monday.

WARREN, NJ — A rash of car burglaries have been reported in the past two days in Warren.

Warren reported a total of six burglaries to vehicles, most of which were unlocked, on Sunday and Monday.

On Sunday, May 5 four cars were reportedly burglarized overnight including:

  • Two unlocked vehicles parked on Peach Tree Lane. The victim's wallet containing $70 in cash, assorted credit cards and other documents were taken.
  • An unlocked vehicle parked on Hickory Lane was rummaged through but nothing appeared to be removed.
  • An unlocked vehicle parked on Hickory Lane was entered and a charging port with assorted charging cables, valued at $50 was taken.

On Monday, May 6 two more vehicles were reportedly burglarized overnight including:

  • A vehicle on Spruce Lane was broken into sometime between 9:30 p.m. on May 5 and 7:30 a.m. on May 6.
  • An unlocked vehicle on Chestnut Hill was entered at an unknown time overnight. No items were taken.
