Reports Of DUI, Identity Theft And Assault In Warren

A Hillsborough man was arrested for DUI and another HIllsborough man was arrested for assault in Warren: blotter

Warren, NJ - A Hillsborough man was arrested for DUI in Warren, according to the police blotter.

On July 13 at 1:36 a.m.: John Pero 5th, 20, of Hillsborough was arrested for DUI following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Valley Road. Pero was issued summonses for DUI, Underage DUI, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving and Failure to Maintain Lanes. He processed and released with a court date.

On July 12 at 3:31 p.m.: A Roseland Avenue resident reported identity theft. An unknown party made numerous purchases totaling $3,000 under the victim's name.

On July 9 at 4:30 a.m.: Police responded to a report of an assault at Fairfield Avenue home. Wieslaw Kania, 43, of Hillsborough was taken into custody on the alleged offense of simple assault. Kania was processed and released. The victim declined medical attention.
