Rug Hooking Art Displayed In Warren Township Library
The Alice Beatty Chapter of The Association of Traditional Hooking Artists will display their craft at Warren Library through May 31

Warren, NJ -- Nine members of The Alice Beatty Chapter of The Association of Traditional Hooking Artists, which is devoted to the art of rug hooking, are currently exhibiting examples of their craft in the Display Case in the Art Space at SCLSNJ's Warren Township Library branch through May 31.
The exhibit includes projects created by artists with a range of experience – as recently as 2006 to those who have been creating projects since the 70’s. The Display Case is overflowing with a variety of colorful beautifully handcrafted examples, including dolls, holiday decorations, pillows, handbags, animals, table runners, mug mats, and pin cushions, as well as a foot stool.
As part of the Warren Workshop series, SCLSNJ's Warren Township Library branch is offering Rug Hooking Part 1 on April 25 at 7 p.m. and Rug Hooking Part 2 on May 23 at 7 p.m. Members of the guild will teach patrons how to rug hook a small flower pattern.
