Runner Hit By Car, Hospitalized In Warren

A pedestrian running in Warren was hit by a car and sent to a hospital on Labor Day, Warren Police reported.

WARREN, NJ — A pedestrian running in Warren was hit by a car and sent to a hospital on Labor Day.

At 10:40 a.m. on Monday, Linda Taylor, 46, of Bloomfield was driving on Briarwood Drive East when she hit a runner in the roadway, Warren Police said.

The runner, identified as Eva Patel, 30, of Cliffside Park, was taken to Morristown Medical Center for a possible broken leg, police said.

No summonses were issued to the driver.
