WARREN, NJ — Warren and Watchung Hills Regional High School students returned to school on Wednesday in a more traditional fashion than has been seen since the beginning of the pandemic.

As a result, Warren Township Police Chief William Keane sent out a note to residents to remind them of some safety precautions:

  • Be aware of school buses picking up and dropping students off at various locations in town
  • Watch for students walking or riding their bicycles to and from school
  • Allow extra time to get to work/school as traffic will increase throughout the town during peak commute times
  • Be mindful of changing speed limits through school zones as students are now present
  • Parents remind students to pay attention to traffic when using the bus or walking/biking to and from school

"We wish all our students a safe and healthy school year," said Keane.
