See How Warren Voted In NJ Governor, Committee, School Races

WARREN, NJ — It was an extremely close race for New Jersey Governor with Phil Murphy ultimately leading Jack Ciattarelli in the race for a second term, according to unofficial results. Mail-In and Provisional Ballots will be certified by Nov. 18.

Overall Warren favored Ciattarelli with 3,691 total votes over Murphy with 2,260 votes.

All 13 districts in Warren Township favored Ciattarelli.

Warren Township also had two local heated races for Committee and School Board. In the council race, there were four candidates vying for the two, three-year seats.

Republican incumbents Gary DiNardo and Victor Sordillo won over Democrats Ilana Goldstein-Barsky and Nichelle Santos.

DiNardo had 3,606 votes and Sordillo had 3,584 votes over Goldstein-Barsky who had 2,166 and Santos with 2,131 votes.

In the school board race, there were six candidates vying for the three, three-year seats. Ryan J. Valentino, Daniel Croson, Jr., and Mehul Desai won over Aparna Virmani, Eric Winch, and Tambudzayi Miranda Chibwe.

Valentino had 2,392 votes, Croson had 2,408 votes, and Desai had 1,836 votes over Virmani with 1,777, Winch with 972, and Chibwe with 908.
