Senior Centers to Close Nov. 26 Due to Expected Snow

Meals on Wheels deliveries will be attempted on Wednesday but all seven Somerset County-operated senior centers will be closed.

The following Senior Centers operated by the Somerset County Office on Aging & Disability Services will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26, due to the anticipated snow: Raritan, Quail Brook, Warrenbrook, Hillsborough, Manville, Montgomery and the Senior Wellness Center in Bernards.

Attempts will be made to deliver as many Meals on Wheels as possible.

The Office on Aging & Disability Services, located at 27 Warren St. in Somerville, will be closed to walk-ins on Wednesday for the safety of patrons. Clients needing information and assistance may call 908-704-6346 or toll free 1-888-747-1122.

The Office of Veterans Services, also located at 27 Warren St., will be closed to walk-ins on Wednesday as well. For information related to veterans’ services, call Peter Niemiec at 908-704-6357.
