Seven Car Crashes Reported in Warren
One overturned vehicle, a hit-and-run, credit card fraud and criminal mischief reported in the Warren police blotter.

Warren, NJ -- Seven car crashes were reported in Warren since Thursday, including one overturned vehicle, according to the police blotter.
On Thursday April 28 at 4:43 p.m.: Shivam D. Patel, age 18, of Green Brook rear-ended a 38-year-old from Boonton on Mountain Blvd. east of Primrose Way. Patel was issued a summons for delaying traffic. No services were needed.
On Thursday April 28 at 5:31 p.m.: Yinong Jiang, age 51, of Edison rear-ended a 42-year-old from Edison on Stirling Road near Dillon Court and was issued a summons for careless driving. No services were needed.

On Friday April 29 at 9:05 a.m.: Hina Suri, age 28, of Lawrenceville pulled into traffic and struck a 30 year old from Dunellen on Washington Valley Road at North Road. No injuries were reported or services requested. Suri was issued a summons for careless driving.
On Friday April 29 at 3:35 p.m.: An 82 year old man from Watchung rear-ended a 35 year old from Manville on Stirling Road. No injuries reported or summons issued. The on-call duty wrecker and a private tow responded to remove the vehicles.

On Saturday April 30 at 2:40 p.m.: Matthew Mortillo, age 42, of Warren lost control of the vehicle and overturned on Mount Bethel Road at Sydenham Road. Warren Township Fire Department, Warren Township Rescue Squad and Medic 12 responded. Mortillo was transported to Morristown Hospital for various injuries. The on-call duty hook responded.
On Sunday May 1 at 2:22 p.m.: A resident of Kalman Court reported an incident of credit card fraud. Approximately $800 was charged to the victim's Macy's card.
On Sunday May 1 at 5:47 p.m.: A hit and run motor vehicle accident was reported on Mount Bethel Road near Maxwell Court. A driver pulled out of an unknown driveway stopped and was struck by a 37-year-old from Warren. The first vehicle then fled the scene. No injuries reported or services requested.
On Monday May 2 at 7:15 a.m.: Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Stirling Road near Mountain Avenue. No injuries were reported. Patrol advise the driver, Tyler Helbing, age 17, of Warren, lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The on-call duty tow removed the vehicle from the scene. No summonses were issued.
On Monday May 2 at 10:52 a.m.: An incident of criminal mischief was reported at Dealaman’s Pond on Mount Horeb Road. Patrol advised sometime between April 28 and May 2 an unknown vehicle cause impressions and ruts in the grass.
