Shabby Chic Boutique Party Venue Celebrates Girls And Women In Somerset County
The Dainty Den is a place where girls can feel extra special, and women can gather to celebrate memorable events.
WARREN, NJ — A new, unique shabby chic party space celebrating girls and women has recently opened in Warren Township.
"The Dainty Den is a place where girls can feel extra special while celebrating memorable birthdays, and also as a welcoming space for women to gather for workshops, meetings, baby showers, bridal showers, and more," according to Dainty Den.
Sherri Fishman of Springfield opened The Dainty Den earlier this year at 20 Mount Bethel Road, Warren.

Fishman had started doing birthday parties back in 2017 where she would go to people's homes and create these unique, creative custom parties.
Her business, initially called Social Code, exploded during the pandemic.

"I exploded, because nobody wanted to go into places. So I would go to people's houses. We would have it either outside or in their garages, and everybody would wear masks," said Fishman.
She was then approached by her last partner to open a party venue space called Soiree in Summit.
From there, Fishman recently decided that she wanted to branch out and open her own new location with a new concept.
"I want the space to feel like you're in your home, in your den, you kind of just lounge, and you're comfortable," said Fishman, which is what inspired the name The Dainty Den.
"It's a quaint space," said Fishman. "I want it to feel very loungy and comfortable."
The space is designed with a feminine touch. A pink couch, fireplace, chandeliers, flowers, china and glassware, and a candy cart.
Fishman's goal is for the boutique "to be a really fun, pretty safe space for girls and women to just come in and feel special."
The Dainty Den offers a variety of party packages for birthdays, workshops, meetings, baby showers, bridal showers, and more.
She also hosts kids' mini craft camps, pop-up workshops, manners classes, and girl empowerment workshops —plus fun extras like hair tinsel for a little sparkle.
One unique upcoming event is the Daddy/Daughter Royal Hair Affair.
It will take place on Friday, March 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will learn simple, beautiful hairstyles like braids, buns, and ponytails with guidance from The Dainty Den's team.
Learn to create princess-inspired looks with glitter and tiaras. Royal refreshments and sweet treats will be offered and each girl will leave with a tiara, hair styling kit, and styling tips.
Other parties include the Glam party, slime and craft parties, tea parties, and more.
The parties are available for all ages, from children to 80-year-olds.
"There's no limit. 40th, 50th, sweet sixteens. I've done small bat mitzvahs, anything," said Fishman.
Overall, Fishman is excited to be part of the Warren community.
"I love the organizing, and I love seeing the final process and seeing the smiles on the kids' faces and the moms' faces, and hearing from the moms that the kids were saying this was the best party ever and that they didn't have to do a thing except bring their kid and their cake," said Fishman.
She added that she puts a lot of thought and detail into every single party, making sure that there are enough supplies for every party, and that the girls, who work for her, are always comfortable and making the customers happy as well.
"It's just the whole experience is just really amazing, from start to finish, working with the customers and ending off where they're just happy that their child or that their own experience was positive," said Fishman.
