Snow, Ice Cause Multiple Accidents Over Weekend in Warren
A total of five accidents occurred this weekend, including a three-car crash. Snow-covered and icy roads were blamed for three accidents.

WARREN, NJ — A total of five accidents were reported this past weekend in Warren, including three caused by snow-covered and icy roadways.
On Jan. 6 at 5:18 p.m.: Police responded to a three-car accident on Stirling Road near Highmount Avenue. Patrol advised that Dawnne A. Brown, 28, of Plainfield rear ended a 33-year-old Dunellen driver sending him into a 44-year-old Dunellen driver. No reported injuries. Brown was issued a summonses for careless driving. The tow truck removed Brown's car from the scene.
On Jan. 7 at 11:52 a.m.: Police responded to a car accident on Old Stirling Road near Reinman Road. Alexander T. Miesner, 24, of Warren pulled into the path of a 62-year-old Warren driver after passing a parked delivery truck and hit the car. No injuries reported. Miesner was issued a summonses for obstructing passage of another vehicle. No services needed.

On Jan. 7 at 2:55 p.m.: Police and the Warren Rescue Squad responded to a one car crash with injuries on Morning Glory Road near Sunny Slope Drive. The 58-year-old Bound Brook driver slipped on the snow-covered roadway, lost control and hit a tree. He was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset and the car was towed from the scene.
On Jan. 7 at 3:21 p.m.: Police responded to a one-car crash on Mountain Boulevard near Washington Valley Road. Olga Garcia-Martinez 38, of Bound Brook driver slid into the median due to the snow-covered roadway and struck a decorative rock and sprinklers. She was issued a summonses for unlicensed driver and careless driving. No services needed.

On Jan. 8 at 8:38 a.m.: Police responded to a one-car crash on Wychwood Way near Dock Watch Hollow Road. The 22-year-old Millington driver lost control and struck a curb due to icy road conditions. No injuries reported. The tow truck removed the car and no summonses were issued.
