SOMERSET COUNTY TOURISM ANNOUNCES
THE INAUGURAL “SALUTE TO TOURISM AWARDS”
TO HONOR ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTIONS MADE THROUGH TOURISM

The First Annual Somerset County Salute to Tourism Awards www.VisitSomersetNJ.org/awards, is a program designed to recognize individuals and organizations who have contributed to the local economy through Tourism activities. Somerset County Tourism is now soliciting the public to nominate a business/individual who has demonstrated significant achievement in one of five award categories: Service Excellence, Tourism Advocate, Economic Champion, Collaborative Achievement and Best Tourism Creative. Nominations are being accepted now through October 18, 2013 at www.visitsomersetnj.org/awards/vote. Winners will be publicly recognized at the first annual Salute to Tourism Awards Ceremony on November 7th 2013, at the Raritan Valley Country Club. Elizabeth Becker, bestselling, award-winning author and journalist of Overbooked: The Exploding Business of Travel and Tourism, will keynote this exciting event and hold a book signing to mark the occasion. Proceeds from the Salute to Tourism Awards will benefit Somerset County Tourism, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
