Burglars Strike North Ridge Way Residence
Warren Township Police Department's daily activity reports for the week of Feb. 26.

March 1
No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Randall Baudry, 38, of Branchburg, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Phillip Calinda, 48, of Chester, at 9:10 a.m., as the vehicles were at the intersection of Mt. Bethel Road and Hillcrest Boulevard.

A North Ridge Way resident reported coming home at about 7 p.m. and discovering someone had entered the property and stolen $80 in cash and jewelry valued at $1,100.

Feb. 29
A William Penn Road resident reported at 8:19 a.m. that someone had damaged the property's mailbox.

Police responded to the scene of a one-vehicle crash on Liberty Corner Road at 12:38 p.m., after a calling reported seeing a vehicle driven by Steven Chung, 19, of Warren, go off the roadway and hit a mailbox. No injuries were reported in the incident.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Daniel Deluty, 17, of Stirling, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Lisa Marie Vitolo, 48, of Green Brook, as the vehicles were driving on Stirling Road at 2:26 p.m.

Andrew Thomas, 18, of Hillsborough, was charged with possession of drug paraphrenalia at 3:51 p.m. after police received a report of suspicious behavior while Thomas was on Primrose Way. He was released after the charge was filed, pending an appearance in municipal court.
Warren vounteer firefighters responded to a chimney fire at a Morning Glory Road residence at 8:36 p.m., and extinguished the fire.
Feb. 28
Taras Idak, 23, of Warren, was charged with possession of prescription medicines and drug paraphrenalia at 8:51 a.m., after the vehicle he was driving on Deer Path was stopped by police. He was released after the charges were filed, pending an appearance in municipal court.

A Quail Run resident contacted police at 2:25 p.m. to report $1,175 in cash stolen from an unlocked vehicle at the residence, taken sometime during the night.
Feb. 26
Kevin Eberle, 26, of South Bound Brook, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 1:18 a.m. after police stopped the vehicle he was driving on Warrenville Road. He was also charged with careless driving, and driving an uninsured vehicle, before released pending an appearance in municipal court.

Police investigated an accident at 2:13 p.m., after vehicle driven by Joanne Deluca, 43, of Warren, backed into a vehicle driven by Joy Zheng, 47, also of Warren, at Hillcrest Road and Bellewood Drive.
No injuries were reported.
Feb. 25
An Avon Court resident reported the theft of numerous items from the household, totalling an estimated $10,000, at 10:13 a.m. No time frame for the theft was provided.
Feb. 24
No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Sara Szymanski, 17, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Suzanne Milani, 56, also of Warren, at the intersection of King George Road and Mountain View Road at 8:59 a.m.

A Devon Lane resident reported someone had smashed a window on a vehicle parked at the residence. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Michael Fallucca, 34, of Bernardsville, hit a vehicle driven by Craig Lawrence, 37, of Beverly, on Mt. Bethel Road, near Mountain View Road, at 11:30 a.m.

A Berkshire Drive resident reported the theft of a GPS system from a vehicle at the residence at 2:08 p.m.

Evan Grafas, 19, of Warren, was charged with careless driving after the vehicle he was driving hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Thomas Hakala, 62, of Westfield, at the intersection of Old Stirling Road and Mountain Boulevard at about 3 p.m.

A Beechwood Court resident reported someone had slashed two tires on a vehicle parked at the residence sometime during the night. No estimate of the cost to replace the tires was provided.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Lindsay Aparicio, 27, of Somerset, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Christina Reckhow, 28, of Somerset, at the intersection of Mountain Boulevard and Mt. Bethel Road at 5:38 p.m.

At 10:42 p.m., police responded to an accident at the intersection of Liberty Corner and Mountain View roads, after a vehicle driven by Michael Hornyak, 45, of Morristown, hit a vehicle driven by Sarah Meyers, 18, of Warren, while changing lanes. No injuries were reported.
