Second Annual Speed Networking at the Warren Library!

To finish up our year long series for the Small Business Owner in the Warren-Watchung area, the library will be hosting our annual Speed Networking Event.  Like speed dating, speed networking involves seating an individual opposite someone else. Participants meet up to 30 other individuals over a two hour time period. In ten minutes, attendees can describe their respective business, market themselves and/or their business, exchange business cards, practice small talk, and pass on referrals. When the bell rings, it's time to move to another table and meet someone new.   Participants will get a chance to perfect their 30 second “elevator speech,' practice marketing skills, try out a new sales pitch and expand their professional network.  In addition, we will have a brief presentation from a representative from Health Republic Insurance of New Jersey which is a a non-profit Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan (CO-OP) who will speak to the group about the Affordable Care Act and how it will affect the small business owner.
