Stranger Enters Open Garage, Unlocked Car In Warren

Warren Police continue to remind residents to lock their vehicles and not to leave any key fobs or valuables inside.

WARREN, NJ — As Warren continues to warn residents of an uptick in criminal activity in the area, a man was recently reported going inside an open garage and an unlocked car in the township.

On Thursday at 9:23 p.m., a Bellewood Drive resident reported man went in their unlocked vehicle and also briefly walked through an open garage, said Warren Police.

Nothing was reported stolen.

Keane also offered some simple tips to hopefully prevent residents from becoming victims. Tips included locking vehicles and not to leave any key fobs or valuables inside.
