Temple Har Shalom Commemorates Kristallnacht November 14 and 16

Temple Har Shalom (104 Mount Horeb Road, Warren, NJ) will commemorate Kristallnacht this weekend with two events. Join us Friday, November 14 at 7:30pm for our Shabbat Service with guest speaker Dr. Norbert Bikales. Dr. Bikales will share with the congregation his story of survival during the Holocaust. There will be a special Oneg following the Service. On Sunday, November 16, at 11:30am, Temple Har Shalom’s Adult Education Committee will be presenting the documentary Children of Chabannes, and Dr. Bikales will be available for a question and answer session after the film. Dr. Bikales appears in the documentary, and will speak about his experience on the Kindertransports that help to save him along with hundreds of other children. Dr. Bikales is active in Holocaust-Survivor affairs as President Emeritus of the Friends and Alumni of the OSE-USA and as a Board member of the Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest in New Jersey.
