Pollen counts, primarily from trees and some mold spores, are being reported in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area by Dr. Leonard Bielory at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), according to mycentraljersey.com.
According to Bielory, an allergy specialist at RWJUH and the Rutgers Center of Environmental Prediction at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, the tree pollen levels will start to explode this weekend as winter comes to a close, triggering a reaction for some individuals who are allergic, according to mycentraljersey.com.
