Driver Injured in Mt. Bethel Road Accident

Nov. 23

Carlee Rasner, 18, of Warren, was charged with careless driving at 12:41 p.m. after the vehicle she was driving backed into a vehicle driven by Kimberlee Stanton, 47, of Green Brook, on Old Washington Valley Road, at Mountain Boulevard.

Police responded to an accident at 3:03 p.m. at the intersection of Mt. Bethel and Mt. Horeb roads after a vehicle driven by Kristy Mendes, 21, of Pompton Lakes, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Victoria Iovino, 68, of Basking Ridge. No injuries were reported.

Emily Keller, 17, of Green Brook, was charged with failing to observe a traffic signal at 6:35 p.m., after failing to stop for a light at the intersection of Mt. Bethel Road and Mountain Boulevard and side-swiped a vehicle driven by John Lacy, 21, of Warren.

Nov. 22

Rebecca Imhoff, 17, of Manville, was taken to Somerset Medical Center for treatment of a minor leg injury received after the vehicle she was driving on Mt. Bethel Road, at Dubois Road, was struck by a vehicle driven by Rohan Bhaumik, 17, of Green Brook, at 2:53 p.m. The accident occurred when Bhaumik was entering traffic on Mt. Bethel Road, pulling out from DuBois Road.

Nov. 21

Police responded to a three-vehicle accident on Mountain Boulevard, near Mt. Bethel Road, at 4:39 p.m., after a vehicle driven by MaryLee Massenzio, 62, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Hassan Nahvi, 65, of Watchung, forcing it into te rear of a vehice driven by Lisa Fleischhacker, 45, of Warren. No injuries were reported in the accident, and no summonses have been issued.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Marcia Bishop, 68, of Warren, hit a vehicle driven by Helena Antunes, 44, of East Brunswick, while backing out of a driveway on Mt. Bethel Road at 5 p.m.

Nov. 20

An Old Stirling Road resident reported at 8 p.m. the theft of a flat screen TV, valued at $799, after the house was burglarized. Police noted there were no signs of forced entry to the house.

Nov. 19

Rachel Renaud, 22, of Basking Ridge, was charged with DWI at 12:39 a.m. after police received a report of a woman walking on Mt. Horeb Road, near Round Top Road. She was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle. She was released in the custody of a family member after the charges were filed.

At 2:20 p.m., a resident moving from a Washington Valley Road property to North Carolina reported the theft of a Ruger handgun.

Nov. 18

At 5:28 p.m., a Washington Valley Road resident reported a burglary at their home during the day. An unspecified amount of cash and jewelry items were reported stolen.

Police responded to a report of an accident at 10:05 on Valleyview Road, after a vehicle driven by Mario Munera-Diaz, 39, of Green Brook, struck a parked car.
