VIDEO: Scenes from 'Little Women' at WHRHS

Script and Cue opened its spring musical production Thursday, with a full audience ready to enjoy "Little Women, the Musical."

The show opened on Broadway in 2005, with a story written by Allan Knee, along with music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. The school production is directed by Douglas Eaton (who also created the set designs), with musical direction by Angela DiIorio, choreography by Marisa Impalli, and costumes designed by Carolyn Needham.

Other key members of the production include Assistant Director Sianna Simon, Chris Valenti (lighting design and technical director), Stage Manager Laura Thomson, Rick Clark (sound), and Kate Griffin (scenic artist and crew supervisor).

The cast includes Lauren Panzarino, Keith Mallea, Kate Coultas, Lauren Farnell, Alice Tuberty-Vaughan, Melanie Munoz, Mike Saccento, Samantha LaScala, Spencer Bautista, Ben Bouffard, Valerie Riccardi, Jackie Adams, Robert Martin, Larrej Drayton, Emily Petras, Connor Magidson, Matt Fiacco and Cheyenne Pellicoro.

Also in the ensemble are Natalie Martinelli, Andi Fairchild, Emily Baldwin, Jack Duensing, Taylor Giamundo, Lauren Scott, Sophia Kider, Silas Baker, Freddi Marsillo and Andrew Rotolo.

Musical accompaniment is handled by the capable pit orchestra with Sophia Chen, Cecelia Sha, Dan Connolly, Ashlen Udell, Abbe Strauss, Michael Griffin, Jessica Lukaszek, Matthew Schmidt, Angela DiIorio, Bonnie Burgdorf, Marie Malara, Katherine Briski, Michael Briski, Zachary Hait and Elizabeth Booth.

The show will be presented at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday night. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students, and senior citizens are free. Tickets can be reserved by contacting Leigh Brodsky at lbrodsky@whrhs.org, or purchased at the door.
