Warren: Wagner Farm Arboretum To Host 5K Run, Sept. 21
Wagner Farm Arboretum and Wells Fargo Advisors have teamed up for the WFA2 5K run on September 21, 2014 at 3 pm.
The event will take a circular route starting and finishing at the Arboretum, located at 197 Mountain Avenue in Warren. Check-in from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Race starts at 3:00 pm.
The cost to participate is $25 with advance registration before Sept 14, and $30 on the day of the race. Trophies awarded immediately after the race to top 3 Male and Female overall and 5 year age groups: 14 and under to 80+. Timing and registration for the event will be carried out by www.bestrace.com. The event is sponsored by Wells Fargo Advisors and 100% of proceeds are donated to Wagner Farm Arboretum to fund continuing programs to educate children and adults on nature, horticulture and the environment. Fundraising efforts are also working towards plans for a Butterfly conservatory and for a greenhouse at the Arboretum to facilitate early growing for the Giving Garden project.
