Warren, Bridgewater Students Sing Thank You To Healthcare Heroes

Video: The vocal students sing "True Colors" in this beautiful tribute to all essential workers fighting amid the coronavirus.

WARREN, NJ — Students from Warren and Bridgewater worked for several weeks to create a singing thank you video to essential workers fighting amid the coronavirus.

"It really came from our vocal students to express their deepest gratitude for the bravery of the healthcare workers that risk their lives every day to keep us safe. They risk their own lives and its heroic," said Tamara Jacobson, Master Vocal and Acting Coach.

The video begins with Kylie Balish of Bridgewater, who is also International Junior Miss New Jersey Preteen explaining why the students created the video.

The girls are both Somerset VoTech kids and girls from Watchung Hills Regional High School and Bridgewater-Raritan High School. Currently they attend Jacobson's virtual FaceTime lessons and home studio lessons in voice and some in acting.

"The kids were dying to send around a video of thanks," Jacobson said. "We put together a video of thanks to all essential workers because so many around the area are effected. We thought the doctor and nurses could play it in the hospitals for the sick."
