Warren Family Takes Second In Somerset County Caper Accelerated
The Lost Hobos, the Ray Family of Warren, took second place in Somerset County's County Caper Accelerated.

WARREN, NJ — The Ray family of Warren claimed second place in Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center's County Caper Accelerated.
The “competition” for both County Caper and County Caper Accelerated took place at various locations throughout the Somerset County park system on Aug. 19 and 20.
The County Caper Accelerated, for adults age 15 and older, tested participants physically and mentally while completing fun tasks and finding hidden clues throughout the day as the team raced against the clock. Winning team was Team WAMMS, the Kurtzman family, from Nashville, Tennessee with a winning time of 3 hours and 15 minutes. The Lost Hobos, the Ray Family of Warren placed second.

The family County Caper took participants on an interactive tour of Somerset County Parks and facilities. performing tasks, finding clues and gathering information. Winning team was the Ferocious 4, the Trebino family of Bridgewater. The M&MS, the Madavoy family of Hillsborough placed second.
The County Caper, an annual event every August, is designed to encourage everyone to explore, learn and protect parks and other natural areas. For information contact the Environmental Education Center call 908-766-2489.
