Warren Home Burglar Broke In Through Sliding Glass Door: Police

Warren Police issued a warning to residents on Thursday following a home burglary earlier in the week.

WARREN, NJ — A home burglary in Warren where someone broke in through a sliding glass door has prompted police to issue a warning to residents on Thursday.

The burglary was reported on Monday at a home on Springdale Lane sometime between 6:30 p.m. on July 28 and 6:30 a.m. on July 29.

Someone had broken into the home through the back sliding glass door, said police.

"We continue to encourage residents to report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood or at your home via 911 or our non-emergency line at 908-735-1000," said Police Chief William Keane.

Another home burglary was also reported on Wednesday on William Penn Road where someone entered an unlocked garage and removed cash from an unlocked car, according to police.
