Warren Home Burglarized, Front Door Forced Open
A car was also stolen while parked at the Somerset Hills Hotel and a hit and run was reported in Warren this past weekend, police say.

WARREN, NJ — A home burglary, car theft and a hit and run were all reported this past weekend in Warren, police say.
Warren Police Blotter:
On Friday, April 14 at 2:09 p.m.: Walgreens reported a man made a gift card purchase with a fake credit card on April 13. The same person attempted the same on April 14 but left before completing the transaction. Loss is $90.

On Friday, April 14 at 8:17 p.m.: After responding to an alarm at a Stonewood Court home, a burglary was discovered. Front door was forced open and the master bedroom was rummaged through. No apparent proceeds at this time.
On Sunday, April 16 at 10:26 a.m.: A motor vehicle theft was reported at the Somerset Hills Hotel located on Liberty Corner Road. The vehicle was stolen between 4:30 p.m. on April 15 and 10 a.m. on April 16.

On Monday, April 17 at 2:33 p.m.: A hit and run motor vehicle crash was reported on Mountain Avenue. An unknown car struck a utility police and a speed limit sign. The driver fled the scene before police arrived.
