WARREN, NJ — Warren firefighters battled an early morning blaze on Wednesday at a home that appeared to be under construction, Warren Fire Chief Jim Mitchell said.
The fire was reported around 3:50 a.m. at a home at 2 Timber Ridge Rd. Firefighters were able to control the fire quickly with smoke and some fire damage, according to Mitchell.
"I would classify this as a very successful fire response," Mitchell said. "The fire department was alerted before the home was fully engulfed, which gave us some opportunity to mount an effective fire attack."
