Warren Local Arrested For DWI In Raritan
Laszlo Keresztes, 55, of Warren, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a citizen report of an erratic driver on Route 28: Police.
RARITAN, NJ — A Warren local was among three people to be arrested for driving while intoxicated in Raritan last week, according to the Raritan Police blotter.
Laszlo Keresztes, 55, of Warren, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a citizen report of an erratic driver on Route 28 near First Avenue on Jan. 19.
Officer Joseph Nepomuceno located the vehicle Keresztes was driving and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Guitar Center on the Somerville Traffic Circle. After failing field sobriety tests, Keresztes was placed under arrest, police reported.

On Jan. 10: Gregorio Ortega, 45, of Raritan was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he crashed into a parked vehicle on Anderson Street. Sgt. Everett Holt investigated the accident.

On Jan. 13: Raymond Bellaran, 18, of Bridgewater was charged with possessing a false government document and possession of alcohol under the legal age following motor vehicle stop on Weiss Terrace. Passenger Thomas Bartocci, 19, of Raritan was also charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age. Sgt. Thomas Fisher investigated.
On Jan. 15: Jason Stewart, 47, of Wayne was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202. Officer Joseph Nepomuceno investigated the incident.
On Jan. 16: Mirium Aamir, 19, of Brooklyn was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle accident investigation on the Somerville Traffic Circle. Aamir was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the accident. Sgt. James Raniere investigated.
On Jan. 18: Ricky Hayes, 23, of Colonia was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202. Officer Damien Chromowsky investigated the incident.
On Jan. 18: William Cahill, 54, of Raritan was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a
motor vehicle stop on Victoria Street. Sgt. Thomas Fisher investigated.
On Jan. 21: Andrew Helms, 19, of Martinsville was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop in front of Time to Eat Diner on Route 202/206. Officer Joseph Nepomuceno investigated.
