Warren Local Hosts 5K To Raise Awareness For Spinal Cord Injuries
Quaid Mobus, a Warren local and quadriplegic is hosting the 2nd Annual Run for Quaid 5K on Oct. 15.

WARREN, NJ — It's been three years since Warren local Quaid Mobus' life would change forever.
Mobus, who at the time was 24, was four wheeling on his quad the day before his sister’s wedding in the back country of Pennsylvania. During the ride, he hit a piece of concrete stuck in the dirt road causing him to loose control and the quad to flip.
Mobus sustained major damage to his spinal cord, and had his kidney removed. At the hospital he was determined to be a quadriplegic and lost any feeling from the chest down.

One such event is the second annual Run for Quaid 5K (run/walk), which will be held on Oct. 15 at Watchung Hills Regional High School, 108 Stirling Road in Warren.
