Warren Man Among 2 Arrested For DWI In Bridgewater

Bridgewater Police arrested 2 people for driving while intoxicated and 1 for shoplifting in the township, according to the police blotter.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Warran man was among two people arrested for driving while intoxicated in Bridgewater, according to the police blotter.

Wayne Krause, 68, of Warren was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 West on Feb. 1, Bridgewater Police report.

Krause was processed for the arrest, and issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated (DWI), reckless driving and speeding. He was released with a pending court appearance, police report.

On Feb. 8: An employee of Pardo Concrete and Slab of Newark reported a theft. Unknown actors stole a 2016 red colored cement mixer valued at $3,000, while it was stored at 1940 Route 22 East. The theft occurred between Feb. 6 and 8.

On Feb. 8: Daron Piech, 33, of Annandale was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $101 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Piech was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.
