Warren Man Arrested For DWI After Fleeing The Scene Of A Crash: Police

Warren, NJ -- There were four car crashes reported over the weekend in Warren, with one resulting in a DWI arrest of a township resident, according to the police blotter.

Maxwell Picut, 19, of Warren was arrested for DWI after he struck a mailbox on Wilshire Road and fled on Saturday, April 23 at 12:42 a.m., police reported.

Picut was charged with DWI, DWI while underage, careless driving and leaving the scene of a crash. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Friday, April 22 at 12:39 p.m.: A 58-year-old Milford resident rear ended a 54-year-old Fairlawn man on Warren Corp Center Drive, Minimal damage, no summonses issued.

On Saturday, April 23 at 10:18 a.m.: A 45-year-old Bridgewater man rear ended a 17-year-old Green Brook woman on Mount Bethel Road. No summonses were issued.

On Saturday, April 23 at 3:25 p.m.: A 54-year-old New York man reported a blue mini van struck his car on Hillcrest Road at Mountain Avenue and fled the scene. No summonses were issued.

On Sunday, April 24 at 1:41 p.m.: A Dowington Court resident reported that sometime between 1 and 8:30 a.m. their mailbox and post were damaged. Unknown dollar value.
