Warren Man Crashes Into Parked Car, Charged With DWI: Police

Two vehicles were also burglarized recently in the township, according to the Warren Police blotter.

WARREN, NJ — A Warren man was charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing into a parked car early Sunday morning, police said.

Himanshu Sharma, 41, of Warren was arrested at 12:01 a.m. after he hit a parked car on Sycamore Way, Warren Police said.

He was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to report a crash, and failure to submit to a breath test, police said.

He was processed and released pending a court appearance. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

On Sunday at 8:21 a.m.: A Geiger Lane resident reported that at around 5 a.m. a battery operated drill worth $300 was taken from a tool box in the bed of a pickup truck.

On Sunday at 10:12 a.m.: A Geiger Lane resident reported a burglary to a motor vehicle. A multi-use knife and wool hat were removed from the resident's unlocked vehicle. The value of the items is $55.

On Saturday at 1:05 p.m.: A Crosswood Way resident reported fraud. Someone made out of state purchases using the victim's personal and credit card information. No monetary loss at this time.
