Warren Mayor's 2020 Resolution: Affordable Housing Plan
Warren Mayor Gary P. DiNardo's 2020 New Year resolution is to make sure the affordable housing plan is implemented correctly.

WARREN, NJ — 2020 is right around the corner and with the new year and new decade about to start many government officials are looking ahead. Warren Mayor Gary P. DiNardo's 2020 New Year resolution is to make sure the affordable housing plan is implemented correctly.
"For the last three and a half years we've been working day and night on the affordable housing, as our top priority. The plan is now been approved by the state and the courts. Moving forward for 2020, one of our top priorities will be to make sure the affordable housing plan is implemented correctly to our standards.
New Year’s resolution for most people, is losing weight, exercise and eating healthier. For me, most importantly as an elected official, I must keep myself physically, mentally and spiritually healthy, so I can perform the duties and tough decisions that I was elected to do.

New year is always a time to look on different ways that we can improve.
- Must focus on zero budgeting and being fiscal responsible. We must remember whose money we are spending. Every dollar we spend is one less for each family to pay bills.
- Must re-focus on issues that matter, and revisit our priorities. As things and times change and may not be as important to residence or for future need of Warren.
- Try to be more open and transparent to residence, as we are their eyes and ears, it is what they elected us for.
- Public service is a very noble pursuit to partake. We cannot allow what is happening in Washington, both parties have lost their way and lost the trust of the people. We must consciously make an effort to aim higher to keep public trust, as we move into 2020."
