Warren Ranked 47th Safest Town In America
Home security review company released annual, national list based on crime data.
Warren, NJ – Congratulations, Warren Township: You’re one of the safest cities in all of America!
According to safewise.com’s annual rankings, Warren Township came in 47th overall in the category of towns with populations over 10,000 residents.
Dozens more Garden State towns speckled the top 100. The full list can be seen here.
SafeWise is an independent company that specializes in home security reviews, comparisons, and advice for consumers to make the best decisions on how to protect their home.
The site’s methodology and ranking system came from Uniform Crime Report data for the full year of 2014.
Earlier this year, creditdonkey.com, using the same crime data, ranked Warren 17 out of 50 as One of Safest Places to Live.
"For New York City commuters, Warren Township is a pleasant escape from the concrete and tall buildings. Known to some as the 'greenest place in New Jersey,' the town's pastoral feel makes living there restful," the safewise.com review said. "As a matter of fact, so does the town's commitment to public safety. Warren Township has a large police force, fire department, and rescue squad to assist when people are in trouble. The city also has an emergency alert system in place, and residents can sign up for text alerts in case a crime or weather jeopardizes safety."
According to the safewise.com data, Warren Township was last ranked number 92 overall.
