Warren Resident Scammed Out Of $1.5 Million In Wire Transfer Fraud

WARREN, NJ — Two Warren residents were scammed recently including one resident who lost $1.5 million, police said.

On Monday, a Stoningham Drive resident said someone tried to hack into multiple personal accounts and also was able to hack into their PayPal account and steal around $400, said Warren Police.

On Tuesday, an Old Forge Drive resident reported a wire-transfer fraud where they lost around $1.5 million, according to the police blotter.
