Warren Schools, WHRHS To Have Delayed Opening Monday Due To Snow

All Warren Township Schools and Watchung Hills Regional High School​ will have a 2 hour delay on Monday due to the snow storm.

WARREN, NJ — All Warren Township Schools and Watchung Hills Regional High School will have a two-hour delayed opening on Monday due to the declared state of emergency and snow storm, the district announced Sunday night.

AM preschool and AlphaBest before care are cancelled.

"We will be monitoring conditions in the morning. Any changes to the district's operating status will be communicated by 7:30 a.m.," Warren School District announced.

WHRHS will follow a Day 2 schedule with classes beginning at 9:30 a.m.

  • Time Slot 2 - 10:12 - 10:49
  • Time Slot 3 - 10:54 - 11:31
  • Lunch - 11:31 - 12:11
  • Time Slot 4 - 12:14 - 12:51
  • Time Slot 5 - 12:56 - 1:33
  • Time Slot 6 - 1:38 - 2:15

Gov. Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency for the winter storm on Sunday. All 21 counties are impacted by the storm with 5 to 8 inches expected to fall beginning Sunday afternoon and lasting until 7 a.m. on Monday. (See Related: NJ Gov. Phil Murphy Declares State Of Emergency For Snowstorm)
