Warren Sees 0 Coronavirus Deaths In Past 2 Months
Here are the latest numbers of coronavirus cases and deaths in Warren Township and Somerset County as of Friday.
WARREN, NJ — Warren Township has reported 0 coronavirus-related deaths in the past two months.
"The township is doing very well from the COVID perspective," Mayor Michael "Mick" Marion said during a video to residents on Wednesday. "I don't think we have had many if not 2 or 3 in the month of August. So it's been very flat."
"Most important we haven't had any deaths in months," Deputy Mayor George Lazo said.

As of Friday, Warren is reporting a total of 168 positive COVID-19 cases and 14 deaths, which remains the same as last week.
Warren has not reported any new deaths since July 8. The coronavirus cases has also remained flat since Aug. 19.

Of the 14 people, who have died due to the coronavirus in Warren, the overall age range is 65 to 95 years of age:
- 3 - age 65 to 79
- 11 - age 80+
Somerset County has a total of 5,446 cases and 493 deaths as of Friday, according to the state. Franklin Township is the hardest hit in the county with 1,496 cases and 141 deaths followed by Hillsborough and Bridgewater in terms of death rate.

- Franklin Township: 1,496 cases (141 deaths)
- Green Brook Township: 160 cases (33 deaths)
- Hillsborough Township & Millstone: 490 cases (77 deaths)
- Manville Borough: 166 cases (8 deaths)
- Montgomery Township: 144 cases (6 deaths)
- North Plainfield Borough: 359 cases (36 deaths)
- Peapack-Gladstone Borough: 47 cases (1 death)
- Raritan Borough: 127 cases (14 deaths)
- Rocky Hills Borough: 5 cases (0 deaths)
- Somerville Borough: 157 cases (6 deaths)
- South Bound Brook Borough: 87 cases (3 deaths)
