Warren Seniors Support Ukraine
Sunflowers to Support Ukraine fundraiser was launched by the residents and team at Brandywine Living at Mountain Ridge in Warren.
WARREN, NJ — The residents and team at Brandywine Living at Mountain Ridge in Warren showed their support for Ukraine with a special fundraiser.
They launched Sunflowers to Support Ukraine fundraiser on May 8. Brandywine offered fresh-cut sunflowers, which are the national flower of Ukraine and a symbol of peace. Bracelets and Ukrainian flags that the residents helped to sell were also offered.
Residents lovingly made paintings of hope for purchase.

"It feels amazing to play a part in supporting those beautiful people of Ukraine," said Mountain Ridge resident Jenny Genevieve.
"If I was younger I would absolutely volunteer to go over to Ukraine and fight," said Angel Padilla.

The fundraiser raised nearly $750 and all proceeds will be donated to Hope for Ukraine at hopeforukraine.net.
