Warren Teen Is 3D Printing Masks For Hospitals Amid Coronavirus
Watchung Hills High School sophmore Matthew Nunes is in need of clear acetate sheets, sewing elastic and hot glue sticks to keep printing.
WARREN, NJ — Watchung Hills Regional High School sophomore Matthew Nunes is using his time home from school to help out others. He is 3D printing masks to help the hospital staff working on the front lines amid the coronavirus outbreak.
"I saw a post where they needed masks," Nunes of Warren said. "I did my research to see if maybe I could create the masks and I could."
Nunes began printing the masks on Thursday and is need of more plastic sheets, elastic bands, and hot glue sticks to continue his production.

"I love helping out people and it is fun for me," Nunes said. "It keeps me motivated while I am home from school."
