Results: Warren Township Committee, School Board Election 2021

WARREN, NJ — Warren Township Republicans are leading in the polls for the two township committee seats as unofficial results are in.

There are four candidates vying for the two, three-year seats on the township committee and six candidates vying for three seats on the school board.

In the township committee race, Republican incumbents Gary DiNardo and Victor Sordillo are leading over Democrats Ilana Goldstein-Barsky and Nichelle Santos.

The results are unofficial as the final numbers for the Mail-In and Provisional Ballots are not yet counted.

Here are the unofficial results as of 12:02 a.m. on Nov. 3, according to Somerset County (* denotes incumbent):

Warren Township General Candidates:

• Gary P. DiNardo* - Republican - 2,763
• Victor J. Sordillo* - Republican - 2,696
• Ilana Goldstein-Barsky - Democrat - 1,466
• Nichelle Santos - Democrat - 1,441

Warren Township Board of Education:

• Aparna Virmani - 1,234
• Daniel Croson, Jr. - 1,747
• Mehul Desai - 1,300
• Eric Winch - 668
• Ryan J. Valentino - 1,854
• Tambudzayi Miranda Chibwe - 620

Somerset County Board of County Commissioners:

• Michael Kirsh - Republican - 42,072
• Amber Murad - Republican - 41,019
• Shanel Y. Robinson* - Democrat - 36,169
• Sara Sooy* - Democrat - 35,675
