Warren Township Recreation: Fall Tennis Lessons

Registration is open to Warren, Watchung, and Green Brook residents. We offer an 8 week (55 min) session for ages 4-adult. Classes begin September 8th with a registration deadline of August, 28th. Rainout classes will be held on Thursdays, and there is an 8-1 ratio of student to instructor. Classes run Mondays from 4-7pm at Greenwood Meadows tennis courts, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-7pm at the Municipal Tennis Courts.

The instructor is tennis pro, Mike Watson, who has been coaching tennis for over 15 years. He is one of the most distinguished coaches in the area being named the 2002-03 coach of the year for the middle states by United Tennis Assosiation. Michael is the director of the largest tennis training center in Central Jersey, training 600 students annually. After countless students went on to have distinguished carreers at the collegiate level, the United States Tennis Association sanctioned the Watson Classic biannual tournament in his name.
