Warren Township Schools Appoints New Central School Principal

The Board of Education approved Cupelli's appointment at its May 11 meeting; she takes over July 1.

WARREN, NJ — The Warren Township Board of Education has appointed Casey Cupelli as the new principal of Central School, effective July 1.

The board approved the appointment at its regular meeting May 11. Cupelli will serve in the role for the 2026-2027 school year at a salary of $158,000.

"Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Casey Cupelli to the Warren Township Schools family," the district announced. "We are excited for the leadership, passion, and dedication she will bring to our school community."

Cupelli's appointment was among several administrative contracts approved at the meeting. The board also renewed contracts for Business Administrator Christopher Heagele, Assistant Superintendent William Kimmick, Director of Operations Michael Pate and Director of Special Services Molly Lange, all effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

The board also recognized two honorees during the meeting: a recipient of the Governor's Educator of the Year Award and George Villar, who received the Unsung Superheroes in Education Award.
