Warren Woman Among 5 Arrested For Shoplifting
Arrests for driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession were also reported in Bridgewater.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police arrested six people recently including a Warren woman for shoplifting.
On June 27, Alexa Marotta, 21, of Warren was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $5 from Saks Off 5th at the Chimney Rock Crossing, Bridgewater Police reported.
Marotta was charged with shoplifting. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On June 18: Donna Carreker, 49, of Somerville was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $513 from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. Carreker was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Hillsborough Municipal Court. She was charged with shoplifting and processed for the arrest. She was released to the custody of the Hillsborough Police for their warrant.

On June 20: Joshua Kelly, 27, of Newark was arrested for shoplifting two pairs of sunglasses with a combined value of $945 from the Sunglass Hut at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Kelly was found to be in possession of marijuana and had outstanding warrants from Essex County Sheriff’s Department, Edison Municipal Court, Millburn Municipal Court and Wayne Township Municipal Court. He was charged with shoplifting and possession of marijuana. He was processed for the arrest and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
On June 25 at approximately 4:48 p.m.: Michele Bartolett, 58, of Bridgewater was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) following a motor vehicle crash which occurred on West End Avenue. After being processed for the arrest, Bartolett was issued the following motor vehicle summonses: driving while intoxicated (DWI) and reckless driving. She was released with a pending court appearance.
On June 26 at 11:27 p.m.: Karl Velikonja, 18, of Brooklyn New York was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), after he was observed loitering in Frank Nap Torpey Park after hours. After being processed for the arrest, Velikonja was issued the following criminal complaints: possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On June 26 at approximately 8:15 a.m.: A resident of Riha Street reported a vehicle burglary that occurred in the overnight hours of June 25 where $40 cash was reported as missing.
On June 30: Roberto Caytuiro, 50, and Diana Becerra-Ospina, 31, both of Elizabeth were arrested at Lord & Taylor at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Caytuiro was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined value of $355, while Becerra-Ospina was arrested for hindering apprehension. They were served with criminal complaints, processed for their arrest and released with a pending court appearance.
