Apparent Boyfriend of Warren Woman Charged With Her Death

William Parisio arrested in connection with killing of Pamela Schmidt.

The apparent boyfriend of a Warren woman whose Sunday was charged with her death Monday night.

William Parisio, 23, was arrested and charged Monday night and he is being held at the Union County Jail on $400,000 bail, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office. The exact charges were not immediately released in the prosecutor's brief statement.

Authorities found the the body of Pamela Schmidt, 22, inside a Cranford home on Greaves Place Sunday shortly after noon. The cause of her death was a result of trauma, according to Union County Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow.

Schmidt, whose Warren residence is listed on Schindelar Woods Way, reportedly , a 2006 Cranford High School alumnus. 

Parsio will make his first court appearance in the coming days, the prosecutor's office said. His arrest was a result of a joint investigation by the Union County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force and the Cranford Police Department.
